John Wollman
Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
As Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, John Wollman is responsible for Alliance Consulting's vision and go-to-market strategy. As part of the senior executive management team, he manages Alliance's Vertical Industry and Business Driven Solutions practices, develops strategic initiatives and works with many leading clients.
A 17-year veteran in the IT industry, John joined Alliance Consulting in July 1999 as Senior Vice President of Solutions. In this capacity, he successfully spearheaded Alliance's transformation from its staffing roots into a full service consultancy by launching several high growth solutions practices. His team has increased the company's solutions business from zero to over $40,000,000 in sales revenue in 2003.
Previously, John was the Vice President of Marketing for business units of PLATINUM Technology. He was responsible for the ProVision product line as well as PLATINUM's Global Consulting Organization which was of comprised of a 2,000 person, $260,000,000 business unit. John also helped launch the company's Internet Commerce Business Unit. Prior to PLATINUM, he worked at Whittman-Hart as the Director of Strategic Planning, responsible for National Practices, Product Management and Partnerships.
John Wollman began his career at what is now Accenture. Operating in various roles during his eleven-year tenure, he ultimately ran the Americas division for the FOUNDATION Software Organization, managing all product-related sales, services, maintenance, and post-sales support for the FOUNDATION product line. He received a Bachelors of Science degree from Duke University with a dual concentration in Computer Science and Economics. |
