Charles Gerth
Senior Vice President, Application Services
As Senior Vice President, Application Services, Charles is responsible for the delivery of solutions leveraging Alliance’s competencies in the areas of .NET, Java, eBusiness and Quality Assurance and Testing, as well as Alliance's hybrid delivery methodology and offshore team. As a result of Alliance’s recent acquisition of Fusion Technologies, Charles is now driving Alliance’s adoption of best practices across the expanded offshore team. In addition to ensuring global excellence, Charles is also involved in numerous large client engagements from sales initiation through long-term customer success.
Prior to his current role, Charles served as Chief Operating Officer for Fusion Technologies, during which time he developed the company’s acclaimed OneShore hybrid delivery methodology, as well as the company’s global delivery team. Before joining Fusion, Charles spent eight years managing the IT group for Hoechst Roussel Vet, Inc., handling all system development and infrastructure support across the organization. Prior to joining Hoechst, he worked as a project leader and project engineer at Kay Elemetrics, developing sound analyzers and speech analysis software and systems.
Charles received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, with honors, and with a focus in computer systems. |
